Nothing much...

Haven't looked through much lately.

3 pennies, 1 dime, and 3 quarters turned up nothing new.

However, I did receive the following Canadian coins from someone on Coin Community:
Cents: 1928, 1932, 1933, 1936.
Quarter: 2007, Biathlon

Ack, Time!!

Yeah, no time.. Same ol', same ol'..

Since last writing I've looked through 6 nickels, 1 dime, 12 quarters, and 1 small dollar.

The dollar was one I needed: 2011-P.

I also got the 2009-D LP3 Lincoln cent through the mail! Thanks to the donor!

Several new quarters.. One month to go!

College is still with me, but only for a month yet! However, before I can experience all the joys of Christmas vacation, I must first go through final exams....and three exams this week. Ugh.

Since last writing, I managed to search through 2 cents, 3 nickels, 17 dimes, and 87 quarters.

In the quarters were four new dates: Wisconsin-D, District of Columbia-D, Northern Mariana Islands-P,  and Yellowstone-P. There was also an upgrade for my 1998-P.

I also found a couple Canadian coins, one of which was the 2005-P dime I needed.

Finally another post!!

I've been too busy lately with college to post the latest searches, but I've found some time this morning!

The latest search consisted of 8 cents, 10 nickels, 16 dimes, 15 quarters, 1 half, and 39 dollar coins.

There were 6 copper cents.

Of the group of dollar coins, there were four dates I needed: William Henry Harrison-P, James K. Polk-P, Andrew Johnson-P, 2011-D. I really wish more of the newer Indian dollars would circulate. I like their designs better than those of the Presidents.

Speaking of dollar coins, I started a new Petition on the White House's "We the People" website. It's to try to help end the production of the paper dollar. I don't expect the government to really do anything even if I do get 25,000 signatures (isn't that sad?), but I guess you never know...

What do you think? Would the dollar coin be an improvement over the dollar bill? Personally, I know they are much easier to use in vending machines and the like. Maybe they could use a different design and more sturdy color, but I'll take what I can get!

Some new quarters.....

Since last writing, I looked through 10 nickels, 15 dimes, and 138 quarters.

One of the nickels was a new Canadian date I needed: 1993. This coin is nice and shiny without the scratches on the reverse I usually see on Canadian nickels for whatever reason.

There were a bunch of new quarter dates: 1976-D, 1985-D, 1994-P, Delaware-P, Kentucky-P, Louisiana-P, Arkansas-P, West Virginia-P, Idaho-P, Alaska-P, Mount Hood-P, Olympic-P. There were also 4 upgrades: 1979-D, New Jersey-P, South Carolina-P, and Oregon-P.
